A small senior studio, on purpose
LatencyX is a founder-led studio based in Utah, running two tracks: product engineering for founders who need to ship, and human evaluation for AI teams whose models have to be right. We stay small so the work stays senior.
The founder
When you hire LatencyX, this is who you work with — not a sales team, and not a rotating bench.
Christopher Anoruo
Founder & senior software engineer
Christopher has spent more than 15 years building production software — the kind real businesses run on — before founding LatencyX to deliver it the way he believes it should be delivered: senior people, fixed prices, and visible progress every week.
He leads every engagement personally. The person who scopes your product or calibrates your evaluation rubric is a senior engineer who has shipped this work himself — and the person you can reach when something matters.
The evaluation track grew out of the engineering work. The judgment a good engineer brings to a codebase — read carefully, reason about edge cases, never wave through “close enough” — is exactly what model outputs need before they reach users. LatencyX applies that standard to both tracks.
How we work
Four commitments that shape every engagement, on both tracks.
Senior only
No juniors learning on your budget, no handoffs to a bench you've never met. The people who scope the work are the people who do it.
Fixed price, in writing
Every engagement starts with a written scope and a fixed price agreed before work begins. The number moves only if the scope does — and only with your sign-off first.
You own everything
Code lives in your repositories from day one, evaluation data is delivered in your format, and nothing is reused across clients. No lock-in, no hostage assets.
Visible progress
Weekly demos on product work, agreement reports on evaluation work, and a reply within one business day, every time. You never have to ask what state things are in.
Based in Utah
A US studio, working in US time zones, under US contracts.
Working with a US-based team means overlapping hours with every US time zone, contracts and IP handled under US law, and no handoffs disappearing overnight to another continent. For evaluation clients, it also means confidential models and data stay with a small, named team — under your NDA, inside your tooling.
Tell us what you're building
Whether it's a product to ship or a model that needs human eyes on it, tell us where you are and we'll reply with next steps.
