How much does an MVP cost?
The honest answer is that scope decides. Here's what actually drives the number, what our fixed price covers, and how to get an exact figure for your product before you commit to anything.

What moves the number
Four factors account for nearly all of the difference between one MVP quote and another.
Number of features and screens
Every screen is design, build, and testing time. A focused MVP with a tight feature set costs a fraction of a broad one — and usually validates faster.
Third-party integrations
Payments, maps, messaging, health records, external APIs. Each integration adds build time and edge cases, and some add compliance work on top.
Compliance and security requirements
Healthcare, finance, and anything touching sensitive data needs extra controls, review, and documentation. Necessary work — but it belongs in the estimate, not in a surprise invoice.
How much design already exists
A founder with tested wireframes starts ahead of a founder with a napkin sketch. We can work from either, but the design phase is real work in both cases.
What a fixed price covers
When we quote an MVP, the price is for the whole path to launch — not a build fee plus a tail of extras.
Discovery & written scope

Product design
UX/UI for every screen in the scope
The build
production-grade code in weekly sprints, demoed to you
Integrations in scope
payments, APIs, and services named in the scope document
Launch
deployment, monitoring setup, and go-live support
Handover
your code in your repositories, with documentation, from day one
How you get an exact number
No calculator and no guess range — a short process that ends in a written fixed price.
Scoping call
Thirty minutes on what you're building, who it's for, and what success looks like. Free, and no obligation.
Written scope
We turn the call into a scope document: features, screens, integrations, and a timeline in weeks.
Fixed price
One number for the scope as written. It doesn't move unless the scope does — and scope changes are priced and agreed before the work happens, never after.
Build & launch
Weekly demos while we build, invoiced per milestone, and a full handover at launch.
What we build with
The languages, frameworks, and infrastructure behind both tracks — product engineering and the tooling that supports AI evaluation work.

What founders say
Three MVP engagements, in the clients' own words.
LatencyX delivered our investor-ready MVP in just 10 weeks. Their structured execution framework eliminated the chaos we'd experienced with freelancers. We went from concept to live product with clear ownership and zero technical debt.
Lana IsraelFounder, MuzologyAs a non-technical founder, I needed a team that could execute without constant hand-holding. LatencyX's predictable process and clear communication meant I could focus on fundraising while they built a production-grade MVP that investors actually wanted to see.
Duncan RayFounder, SummerDazeWe had seed funding but no technical co-founder. Hiring would've taken 6+ months. LatencyX got us to market in 8 weeks with a scalable architecture. The MVP wasn't just functional — it was investor-ready and ready to scale from day one.

Why don't you publish a price range?
Because a range wide enough to be honest wouldn't help you budget, and a narrow one would be a guess dressed up as a fact. Scope swings the real number by multiples — integrations, compliance, and design readiness all move it. What we publish instead is the model: a fixed price for a fixed scope, quoted in writing after one scoping call.
What if my budget is smaller than my scope?
Then we say so on the scoping call and cut the scope, not the quality. A leaner first version that validates the idea beats a broad one that runs out of money at week six. The remaining roadmap stays documented for phase two.
Is the scoping call really free?
Yes. You leave with a written scope and a fixed price whether or not we work together. The scope document is yours to keep.
How is payment structured?
Per milestone, against the fixed price — never by the hour. You pay for stages of a product you can watch in weekly demos, not for time on a clock.
How long will my MVP take?
Most launch in 8 to 12 weeks from the scoping session. Your scope document carries a specific timeline before any work starts.
